Slovakia: Residence Permit Appointments Unavailable

The Foreign Police in Bratislava and Nove Zamky have limited or no residence permit appointments at this time, which is resulting in immigration process delays. As a possible solution, foreign nationals can submit some applications (including initial Temporary Residence Permits, initial Permanent Residence Permits with a five-year validity, initial Tolerated Residence Permits, and National Visa applications) at another Foreign Police location since these applications do not need to be filed where the person resides. It is not clear how long this appointment issue will last.
