Thailand: Mandatory Online Registration for Companies Using the Single Window System
July 14, 2025

Starting August 1, 2025, the Thai government will introduce a new mandatory registration requirement for all companies promoted by the Board of Investment (BOI) that use the Single Window system for processing work permits and visa applications. Under this new regulation, all BOI companies must register a new user account to continue accessing the system, even if they have an existing account. Thai authorized representatives are required to verify their identity through the “ThailD” mobile application, while foreign nationals must complete identity verification via email. Companies are advised to complete the registration process to ensure uninterrupted access to the SW system.
