Thailand: New Work Permit Submission Options for Companies Eligible for the Rapid Process
April 28, 2026
Update April 28, 2026: The Department of Employment has extended the acceptance of manual submissions for work permit applications, including initial applications, renewals, cancellations and amendments, until further notice.
December 12. 2025: The Thailand Investment and Expat Services Center (TIESC) has revised submission procedures for work permit applications for initial, renewal, cancellation and amendment processes. Companies eligible for the Rapid Process (an expedited submission pathway) can now submit their applications either manually (which no longer requires a screenshot from the e-Work Permit system); or online via the official e-Work Permit system. Companies not eligible for the Rapid Process through TIESC must still submit their applications manually according to standard rules.
