The Times of India: US agency takes a step forward towards ushering pilot program of stamping H-1B visas domestically

The US State Department is set to bring back the stateside renewal program via a pilot in the coming months. As a result, certain visa holders with an expired or expiring visa will be able to apply for renewal of their visas without the need to travel to a US consulate abroad.
