The Times of India: Work permit validity increased to five years for green card

The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has extended the validity period for certain Employment Authorization Documents (EADs) to five years in an attempt to address the persistent processing backlog. Previously the EADs for Adjustment of Status applicants were only valid for two years, requiring frequent extensions.
