The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has extended the validity period for certain Employment Authorization Documents (EADs) to five years in an attempt to address the persistent processing backlog. Previously the EADs for Adjustment of Status applicants were only valid for two years, requiring frequent extensions. Partner Mitch Wexler spoke to The Times of India about this change and its impact on applicants.
