United Kingdom: Second Ballot to be Held in July for APAC Youth Mobility Scheme

The second (of two) ‘ballot periods’ for applications to the Youth Mobility Scheme for travelers aged 18-30 from Hong Kong SAR, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan will open on July 24, 2023 and close on July 26, 2023. Under the program, successful applicants – who must have savings of at least GBP 2,530 and have no children under 18 whom they live with or are financially responsible for – will be able to live, work and study in the United Kingdom for up to 24 months. The first ballot was held in January 2023.
