United States: August 2026 DOL PERM and PWD Processing Times

The Department of Labor (DOL) has issued its latest report on PERM and prevailing wage determination (PWD) processing times.

As of August 31, 2026, DOL was conducting analyst review for PERM applications filed in November 2025 or earlier, and audit review for PERM applications filed in December 2025 or earlier. DOL is working on reconsideration requests that were filed in April 2026 or earlier. 

As of August 31, 2026, DOL was issuing prevailing wage determinations (PWDs) for PERM and H-1B prevailing wage requests filed in May 2026 (for OEWS-based and non-OEWS requests). The agency has been processing PERM and H-1B prevailing wage redeterminations requested in June 2026. In addition, the agency is processing PERM Center Director Reviews from June 2026, and H-1B Center Director Reviews from July 2026.
