Zambia: Decentralization of Long-Term Permits
December 7, 2022
The Regional Immigration Offices in Ndola, Livingstone, and Solweni now print applicants' long-term employment, investor, spouse, and residence permits, where previously, this could only be done at the Immigration Headquarters in Lusaka. This is expected to reduce applicants' travel time to collect their approved long-term permits. The Zambian government's centralization policy will likely expand this service to other regional immigration offices soon.
