Shirin is a Senior Associate at Fragomen’s San Diego office where she advises multinational companies across various industries by providing strategic guidance on immigration processes and compliance. In her practice, she helps businesses and individuals navigate the complexities of U.S. immigration law.

Prior to joining Fragomen, Shirin led the immigration department in a growing law firm, managing the team of legal professionals and overseeing a high volume of immigration cases. She has also worked in top immigration firms, where she advised corporate clients, supervised case preparation and provided training on immigration policies and procedures.

Having immigrated to the U.S. as a child with her family, Shirin brings a personal understanding of the immigration process to her practice. This experience drives her commitment to delivering effective legal solutions that support both businesses and individuals in achieving their immigration goals. She remains actively engaged in the field, staying informed of policy changes and providing guidance to clients on evolving immigration matters.

In addition to her legal practice, Shirin is also an Adjunct Professor at Texas Tech University’s Legal Studies Department, where she teaches critical thinking and legal analysis.
