Anisha is an Associate at Fragomen’s Atlanta office, where she handles O-1 petitions as well as I-140 petitions for the EB-1 and EB-2 category. She has experience with the PERM and I-140 process as well as assisting individuals with EB-1, EB-2 and EB-3 visas.
Anisha gained immigration experience as a Paralegal and Law Clerk with the firm prior to transitioning to her role an Associate Attorney. As a paralegal, she prepared batch PERM and I-140 applications for foreign nationals, and as a law clerk, she worked with foreign nationals pursuing EB-1C I-140 applications, as well as individuals in the EB-2 NIW category. Prior to joining Fragomen, Anisha worked as an Associate Attorney at an immigration law firm based in Illinois, where she represented self-petitioning individuals in the IT, artificial intelligence, healthcare and engineering fields with navigating the immigration process and provided them with support to ensure their immigration plans were in line with current regulation.
During law school, Anisha dedicated more than 50 hours of pro bono service to Legal Action of Wisconsin. She also volunteered at Catholic Charities, where she helped a client file for and be granted asylum. When she transitioned to the role of Associate Attorney, she assisted the Marquette Legal Volunteer Clinic by providing free immigration assistance to those local to Milwaukee.
