Ava is an Associate at Fragomen’s San Francisco office, where she assists clients with employment-based immigration matters, focusing on immigrant visas and permanent residency. She has experience with nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions, including H-1B, L-1, TN, PERM, I-140 and Adjustment of Status. Ava first joined Fragomen as a Law Clerk, where she primarily assisted with drafting and preparing responses to Requests for Evidence.
During law school, Ava interned at a nonprofit organization focusing on asylum, removal defense and Special Immigrant Juvenile status. She has also assisted with U visas, crimmigration matters, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals and family-based adjustment of status at various nonprofit organizations and legal clinics. Ava has volunteered with cross-border asylum initiatives in Mexico and Arizona and was the Student Director of the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law’s Immigration Initiative Clinic, where she assisted with free immigration consultations to local immigrants and participated in N-400 clinics.
