Christina (Christy) is an Associate at Fragomen’s Phoenix office, where she focuses her practice primarily on overseeing lawful permanent resident pathways involving EB-1A Extraordinary Ability, EB-1B Outstanding Researcher/Professor and EB-2 National Interest Waivers. She also oversees O-1 Extraordinary Ability nonimmigrant visa options for many new hire and essential worker populations. Christy plays a vital role in strategic decision-making related to planning creative immigration options, providing pathways for derivative family members and advising on travel abroad.
Christy’s experience ranges from representing and advising Fortune 500 companies to self-sponsored entrepreneurs. She has gained vast exposure to various industries, including computer and electronic product manufacturing, apparel manufacturing, automobile manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, research, higher education, healthcare, banking, spectator sports, telecommunications and energy. She has represented clients before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Department of State (DOS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), and has also acted as the Oregon DMV Liaison through the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
Prior to joining Fragomen, Christy most recently served as a Senior Associate at a mid-size immigration firm. In 2018, she opened and oversaw a satellite office for that firm. In addition, prior to focusing her practice on employment-based immigration matters, Christy gained wide-ranging experience in family-based immigration matters, including matters involving overlapping criminal case and/or removal proceedings. Her past practice has involved a broad range of matters, including naturalization, removal of conditions, petitioning for family members abroad or in the U.S., Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) petitions and U visa petitions.
