Promoted to Partner in 2022 after more than 15 years of a variety of experiences and roles at the firm, Gavin brings a unique perspective to the partnership: he works to enhance Fragomen’s operational excellence through a refreshed and evolving approach to transformation and digital reimagination of the organization’s operations. He is also responsible for a variety of internal and external strategic initiatives for the firm as well as improving client outcomes and enhancing the value proposition to the firm’s clients.

Gavin’s multi-faceted roles and responsibilities bridge strategic to functional excellence driving transformative realignment for effective performance and value realization both internally and for clients. He manages several key account portfolios of the firm, is a Knowledge champion and product owner, a member of the firm’s Client Advisory Board, a core member of the Data Governance Council and a Business Sponsor of the Transformation program tasked with championing and helping to drive, launch and scale a digitally-focused operations and business improvement initiative, leveraging next-generation approaches to process design, automation and optimization across the value chain. Gavin and his team also partner with the firm’s technology leaders in a focused and collaborative manner to accelerate the growth of Fragomen’s technology immigration services and their automation, enhancing user experiences for both clients and internal professionals.

With close to 24 years of overall experience—22 of which have been in the field of global immigration, including vast and diverse exposure to process definition and deployment of complex and multi-faceted cross-functional programs across a spectrum of human resources functions—Gavin brings a unique perspective to the table, having played the role of both client and service provider.

Gavin’s early career began in logistics at the newest Indian manufacturing unit of one of the world’s largest and most respected multi-disciplinary engineering and innovation conglomerates. He went on to lead the U.S. immigration operations for one of India’s largest information technology organizations having both offshore and U.S. onsite roles before joining Fragomen. He then began his career with Fragomen as General Manager and Head of the Bangalore operations in India, building an Inbound Practice across the jurisdiction before taking on the mantle of Implementation Director, establishing a robust client program management methodology for the firm. Prior to his current role, Gavin served as the Senior Director of Global Client Services and Solutions in the Matawan, New Jersey office, as well as the Practice Leader and Head of the Johannesburg office, where he was responsible for strategically positioning and growing the firm’s Sub-Saharan Africa operations and ensuring best-in-class immigration services were provided throughout the continent.

Gavin speaks English, Hindi and Kannada.
