Humaa is an Associate at Fragomen’s San Francisco office, where she counsels clients on employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters. She first joined Fragomen as a Law Clerk at the firm’s Irvine office and then served as an attorney at the New York office.

During law school, she interned at the U.S. Department of Justice in the Executive Office for Immigration Review, Office of the General Counsel, in Falls Church, Virginia. She also served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Judge Clare Elizabeth McWilliams at the Cook County Circuit Court, Law Division, in Chicago. Prior to law school, Humaa served as an Organizing Field Intern for Amnesty International and a Civil Rights Law Intern for the Council on American-Islamic Relations in Chicago.
