Hyla is dedicated to finding creative and effective solutions to complex immigration and mobility challenges for a wide range of clients, including individuals, small- and medium-sized for-profit and nonprofit organizations and Fortune 500 companies in various industries, such as management consulting, information technology, financial services, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, insurance, chemical manufacturing and professional sports.

Hyla provides counsel on all employment-based temporary and permanent visa categories, as well as family-based permanent residence and U.S. citizenship applications. In providing this counsel, she focuses on the client and employee experience, understanding the importance of achieving the client’s business objectives while ensuring a seamless process for both companies and individuals on their very personal immigration journeys. Clients often note that they appreciate the care, attention and empathy that Hyla demonstrates in each case she handles, particularly those that are most unique or complex.

Pro bono work is also a very important component of Hyla’s practice. She has handled a variety of cases throughout her time as an immigration attorney, most notably family members of September 11th victims and asylum matters for unaccompanied minors from Central America and the Caribbean. In 2023, she became a board member of Helpusadopt.org, an adoption grant nonprofit, and Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy, a pluralistic Jewish day school in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

Hyla speaks English and Hebrew.
