Jannette is an Associate in Fragomen's Chicago office, where she provides counsel on all aspects of corporate immigration. Her current practice focuses primarily on nonimmigrant visa matters for a large corporate client.
Prior to her current position, Jannette served as a law clerk in Fragomen's Los Angeles office. In this role, she assisted clients with a variety of U.S. nonimmigrant and immigrant matters, including H-1B and O-1 visa petitions, EB-1 outstanding researcher and extraordinary ability petitions, and permanent residence applications. Jannette also worked at Fragomen's Chicago office prior to attending law school, where she prepared and drafted a variety of nonimmigrant visa petitions. During law school, Jannette worked at a California-based immigration law firm, where she focused on Motions to Reopen and Motions for Cancellation of Removal.
Jannette has worked with the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, where she prepared applications for individuals seeking naturalization, asylum, VAWA and U visas.
Jannette speaks English and Spanish.
