Katrin is a trusted advisor and Fragomen leader with nearly 20 years of experience in immigration law. She leads a large legal team supporting a broad portfolio of corporate clients including many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across industries such as technology, construction, manufacturing, gaming and engineering. Known for her people-led approach, Katrin is committed to understanding her clients’ business and culture, ensuring immigration strategies are not only compliant but also aligned with their broader goals.

Katrin and her team undertake work built on strong relationships and clear communication, partnering closely with HR, mobility and legal teams to deliver practical, empathetic and commercially focused immigration solutions. Whether supporting ongoing immigration needs or advising on complex, business-critical matters, her continued focus is ensuring a smooth and trusted experience for both employers and employees.

Katrin particularly enjoys working with SME clients with whom she can build close, long-term relationships. She values the opportunity to support businesses from their early stages through expansion, offering tailored guidance that evolves with their needs and helping them navigate immigration challenges whilst ensuring compliance.

 

A seamless client experience is central to Katrin’s approach. She oversees Fragomen’s dedicated onboarding team based in Sheffield, which supports the setup and engagement of new clients across the EMEA region, reflecting her commitment to efficiency, streamlined processes and exceptional client service from day one.

Katrin is deeply committed to fostering wellbeing in the workplace and is also a trained Mental Health First Aider. As a member of Fragomen’s Global Responsible Business Practices Committee and its Wellbeing Subcommittee, she leads wellbeing initiatives for the UK offices and provides oversight for the EMEA region, focusing on embedding sustainable wellbeing practices into the Fragomen’s culture, including spearheading mental health training for managers.

Mentorship is another cornerstone of Katrin’s professional philosophy. As a sponsor of Fragomen’s EMEA mentoring program, she actively mentors colleagues and oversees the program’s operations, promoting connection, shared experience and professional growth.

Katrin brings a people-first mindset to every aspect of her work, championing excellent client service, collaborative partnerships and a focus on meaningful relationships both within teams and with clients.
