New York, June 30, 2022 – Fragomen, the world’s leading provider of immigration services, is pleased to announce the appointment of 12 new Partners effective July 1, 2022.

“We proudly welcome our new class of Partners, which includes exceptional talent from around the world, showcasing the firm’s commitment to excellence, diversity and the highest standards of client service,” said Chairman Austin T. Fragomen, Jr.

The new Partners not only reflect the wide array of immigration service offerings at Fragomen but are also experienced immigration professionals with exceptional abilities to guide clients through their most complex and evolving business challenges.

“The global landscape continues to create significant challenges for businesses and individuals alike, and our newly promoted colleagues have distinguished themselves as proactive thought leaders who successfully guide our clients through the most challenging situations,” said Lance Kaplan, Managing Partner of the firm’s International Practice Group. “Their election is key to the continued success of our global strategy of growth and innovation.”

The firm’s new Partners are:

  • Ángel Bello Cortés, Dublin, Ireland
    Ángel oversees the Ireland practice, which supports a diverse client base comprised of multinational corporations, SMEs, start-ups, and private clients. Ángel earned his Bachelor of Law from the Complutense University of Madrid in 2001 and was admitted to the Law Society of Ireland as a Registered European Lawyer in 2005 and then admitted to the Irish roll of solicitors in 2008.
  • Gavin Colaco, Matawan, NJ, U.S.
    Gavin is responsible for a variety of strategic initiatives at the firm and is also focused on improving client outcomes and enhancing the value proposition to the firm’s clients. Gavin received his B.S. from Bangalore University in 1997 and his Graduate Degree in Business from the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce in 1999.
  • Cheryl Escario, Silicon Valley, CA, U.S.
    Cheryl represents clients of all sizes in an array of global industries. She advises and supports corporate clients to effectively manage their in-house immigration programs. Cheryl earned her B.A. from the University of California Irvine in 1987 and her J.D. from Western State University College of Law in 1998.
  • Timo Heck, Zurich, Switzerland
    Timo oversees client relationships and immigration programs for clients in Switzerland as part of his role as the leader of Fragomen’s Swiss practice. Timo earned his M.A. from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau in 2009 and his LL.M. from the German Graduate School of Management and Law in 2017.
  • Aviva Meerschwam, New York, NY, U.S.
    Aviva represents individual and corporate clients on all aspects of U.S. immigration, including nonimmigrant visas, permanent residence, and citizenship. Aviva received her B.A. from Princeton University in 2002 and her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2008.
  • Cosmina Morariu, Toronto, Canada
    Cosmina leads the firm’s private client practice in Toronto. She also supports clients with Canadian temporary and permanent residence immigration matters, as well as consular and document procurement filings. Cosmina received her Bachelor of Law from Nottingham Trent University in 2014 and her LL.M. from York University in 2018.
  • Azeem Mohiuddin, Doha, Qatar
    Azeem leads Fragomen’s practice in Qatar where he primarily focuses on supporting clients with large-scale corporate outsourced migration programs and advising on the design and implementation of related business processes. Azeem earned his Bachelor of Law from Brunel University in 2007 and his Graduate Law Degree from BPP Law School in 2008.
  • William Ralston, Matawan, NJ, U.S.
    William represents clients in a variety of industries including software development and software consulting, satellite communications, consumer products, pharmaceuticals and health care and alternative energy. He also provides counsel to clients on a variety of nonimmigrant visa matters. William received his B.A. from Davidson College in 2004 and his J.D. from West Virginia College of Law in 2010.
  • Da’Niel Rowan, Silicon Valley, CA, U.S.
    Da’Niel provides counsel on all major employment-based temporary and permanent visa categories to large multinational corporations in the technology sector. Da’Niel received her B.Sc. from Saint Mary’s College of California in 2005 and her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2011.
  • Lauren Stulmaker, New York, NY, U.S.
    Lauren practices exclusively in the field of U.S. immigration and nationality law. She assists multinational corporate clients with meeting their immigration needs, focusing on permanent residence and nonimmigrant visa options. Lauren received her B.Sc. from Cornell University in 2008 and her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in 2011.
  • Charlotte Wills, London, U.K.
    Charlotte provides strategic immigration advice and support to clients across a range of industries. She leads a portfolio of accounts that include large financial institutions, companies from the IT and media industries, as well as clients from the oil and gas sector. Charlotte received her B.A. from the University of Birmingham in 2007 and her Graduate Diploma in Law from the College of Law, London in 2008.
  • Katrin Wilson, London, U.K.
    Katrin manages a range of corporate clients including financial, media, and engineering companies through the UK Points Based System, including working with clients to ensure their compliance with immigration requirements. Katrin received her M.A. from Edinburgh University in 2002 and her Graduate Law Degree from BPP Law School in 2003.
