Lauren assists clients in the retail, financial services, engineering and technology industries with the development and management of large-scale immigration programs and provides counsel on compliance on all global mobility matters. She works closely with various leaders at clients’ companies to analyze how these programs affect operations and helps them understand the various ways in which changing rules and restrictions can impact hiring practices. Lauren also has extensive experience in corporate reorganizations involving an immigration component.

In addition to program development, Lauren frequently provides key trainings and presentations to human resources and global mobility professionals, as well as foreign national employees and their managers on business immigration concepts and options. Clients rely on Lauren’s counsel regarding case assessments and crucial strategy decisions.

As a true extension of the clients’ internal teams, Lauren immerses herself in their corporate culture and is vested in their success. She understands that every client has the need for custom policies and programs, and a different value set as related to the employee experience—factors that are crucial when providing unique solutions to their immigration challenges. Lauren is known for her communications skills, accessibility, responsiveness and creativity. She works closely with Fragomen’s U.S. and global teams to leverage the full capabilities of the firm when needed, such as legal strategies, the I-9 team and others, to provide broader connectivity and ensure a seamless client response.

Lauren takes great pride in helping her clients’ foreign national employees and works to help them navigate a complicated field. Feeling like she truly makes a difference in many lives, Lauren also thrives on the intellectual challenges posed by immigration law and appreciates its many facets.

Lauren also channels her passion for helping immigrants to numerous pro bono opportunities offered by the firm, including participating in various asylum clinics, helping with naturalization applications and process while volunteering with CUNY Citizenship Now! and other New York organizations.
