Maria Delia (Delia) is an Associate at Fragomen’s Boston office, where she advises multinational corporate clients on a variety of U.S. immigration matters. She primarily assists corporate clients with employment-based immigration petitions, particularly PERM labor certifications with the U.S. Department of Labor.
Prior to joining Fragomen, Delia was an Associate at a prominent immigration firm in Houston, Texas, where she guided corporate clients through every phase of obtaining employment-based nonimmigrant status for their employees, primarily L-1, H-1B, TN, E-2 and O-1 status. She has experience representing corporate clients and self-petitioning foreign nationals in various immigrant matters, including EB-2 National Interest Waivers, EB-1 Multinational Manager/Executive, EB-1 Aliens of Extraordinary Ability and EB-1 Outstanding Professor and Researcher petitions, in addition to responding to complex Requests for Evidence. Delia also has experience representing entrepreneurs in EB-5 Immigrant Investor petitions and advising corporate clients on Form I-9 compliance matters.
Delia has provided pro bono support and representation at citizenship and DACA clinics.
Delia speaks English and Spanish.
