Experience
Facilitated senior-level meetings between corporate clients and the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi, the U.S. Consulate in Chennai and the U.S. Embassy in Dublin to discuss the L-1B specialized knowledge visa category, which ultimately strengthened the L-1B visa programs of clients in industries such as software development and audit, tax and advisory services.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, provided clients with a comprehensive analysis of the changes and business impact resulting from the immigration-related Presidential Proclamations and Travel Bans. Led multiple Town Hall calls regarding the Proclamations for the foreign national employee populations of multinational clients, one of which was attended by over 900 employees of the company worldwide.
Successfully advocated on behalf of a client to register the client’s major U.S. operating companies as E-1 treaty trader entities with the U.S. Consulate in Frankfurt, enabling the client to utilize the E-1 work visa category for qualified employees/candidates that are international transfers and short-term assignees to the United States. Worked closely with the client to strategize, prepare and present the necessary supporting corporate documentation to demonstrate to the U.S. Consulate that the client’s services and technology result in substantial trade between Germany and the United States, resulting in an expeditious and positive outcome for the client’s Global Mobility and U.S. immigration programs.
