Philadelphia Immigrant Employment Collaborative (PIEC) Summit

Partners Rahul Shah and William Ralston, Senior Associate Chelsea Germak, and Chief Knowledge Officer Scott Leeb will represent Fragomen at this employer-focused program hosted by the City of Philadelphia and its partner organizations. Bringing together employers, HR professionals and talent leaders, the event will focus on strategies for recruiting, hiring and retaining immigrant talent. 

Scott Leeb will deliver a keynote address, while Rahul Shah, William Ralston and Chelsea Germak will present two educational sessions: 

• Employment-Based Immigration 101, covering key U.S. employment-based visa categories and permanent residence pathways, including the H-1B visa category and options for F-1 international students such as Optional Practical Training (OPT)
• Advanced Immigration Topics in Today's Environment, addressing changes to the H-1B cap registration and lottery system, developments related to the proposed $100,000 fee for certain H-1B petitions, potential increases in prevailing wage requirements, and new USCIS policy guidance on Adjustment of Status to Permanent Residence.
