Sama is a Senior Associate at Fragomen’s Dallas office, where she advises corporate clients across the semiconductor, telecommunications, hospitality and pharmaceutical industries on employment-based immigration strategy. She manages complex, high-volume immigration programs and counsels clients on regulatory compliance, workforce planning and changes in immigration law, including matters arising from corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions.
Her practice includes a broad range of immigrant and nonimmigrant matters, including H-1B, L-1 and other nonimmigrant visa strategies, as well as PERM labor certifications and immigrant visa processes. She has particular experience with E-2 company registrations, advising organizations on the development and implementation of treaty investor programs. Sama also leads client trainings and works with internal teams to streamline processes and maintain consistency across large-scale immigration programs.
Prior to joining Fragomen, Sama practiced at a boutique immigration firm in Boston, where she represented clients before the Executive Office for Immigration Review, Board of Immigration Appeals, and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
