Siobhan is a Partner and Solicitor in the London office, where she manages a large team of lawyers and immigration professionals. She works with major corporate clients, providing strategic immigration and compliance support across the EMEA region and has built an extensive network of both corporate and private clients across a diverse range of industry sectors, including healthcare, hospitality, finance, media and communications. Siobhan partners with her clients to establish best in class immigration programmes advising on workforce planning, process/change management and remote working and talent management.
Siobhan provides consultations and strategic advice to both the business and employees on crisis management and impact thereof, including more recently with Brexit, COVID-19 and the Ukraine crisis.
Siobhan also provides strategic and tactical advice on client immigration sponsor obligations and Day 1 compliance concerns, company restructuring, mergers and divestitures and audits to help ensure that reporting and record keeping is robust, and illegal working checks are infallible. She has a lengthy history sitting on several working groups with the UKVI, where she represented the interests of clients and is fully involved with the Home Office and various groups regarding the ongoing implications of Brexit, the COVID-19 pandemic and currently the Ukraine crisis. Siobhan also advises clients on social security requirements in the context of immigration. She provides technical advice and analysis in relation to compliance of multinational companies and their employees in line with the current social security legislation including the EU Regulations, UK and U.S. domestic legislation. She assists companies in obtaining A1/Certificate of coverage, Certificate of Retention and Exemption of social security liability.
Siobhan is the UK Regional Partner for Diversity, Equality & Inclusion and the Global Partner for Environmental, Social and Governance, championing and leading the European approach. She is also the lead partner for the European Mentoring programme and is a Mental Health Ambassador for the firm.
Siobhan is a regular author and contributor to immigration articles and seminars (e.g., LexisNexis and Best Start Human Resources). She is also a frequent speaker and panelist at various seminars and corporate events in the UK including the Global Mobility Leaders Exchange and various FEM Global Mobility Summits.
