Stephanie is an Associate at Fragomen’s Washington, DC, office. She has 17 years of experience as a business immigration attorney, with particular experience representing major IT consulting companies. For 11 years, Stephanie led the in-house immigration practice at a Fortune 200, $16 billion company, where she worked closely with human resources, managers and executives to identify and implement strategies to secure work authorization for foreign national employees. In this role, she designed corporate compliance programs, offered tailored solutions to meet client-specific needs, operations and business environments and enabled global mobilization of the client workforce. She continues to focus on the unique issues related to IT consulting companies.

Stephanie’s pro bono work is focused on citizenship and naturalization for the underrepresented and those who cannot afford legal counsel.

Advised on the immigration consequences of mergers and acquisitions for multiple transactions, including the merger of two multi-billion-dollar companies to form one of the largest pure play IT consulting companies.

Advised and supported the development of a global mobility program for a Fortune 500 company.

Designed compliance programs to meet DOL and USCIS regulations.

Advised managers, human resources and corporate executives on immigration strategies for current and future employees, and on corporate immigration policies and practices to ensure that the human capital was in line with the tactical and strategic goals of the company.
