Sydney is an Associate at Fragomen’s New York office, where she advises multinational corporate clients on a wide range of business immigration matters, including employment-based nonimmigrant visa petitions and applications for permanent residence. She represents clients across a variety of industries, with a particular focus on the financial services sector.
Sydney has experience developing case strategies, assessing immigration options for foreign national employees and preparing responses to complex Requests for Evidence from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. She counsels clients on case-specific filing strategies, consular processing considerations and other immigration issues.
During law school, Sydney served as a Senior Staff Editor of The City University of New York Law Review.
Sydney has provided pro bono immigration services through Safe Passage Project, where she assisted unaccompanied minors seeking Special Immigrant Juvenile Status and asylum and through CUNY Citizenship Now! clinics, assisting with naturalization applications. She also assisted individuals seeking asylum through her law school’s Immigrant & Non-Citizen Rights Clinic. Her broader community service includes her work as a Fellow with the Red Hook Community Justice Center, where she assisted immigrant residents with housing matters and connected them with legal and social services.
