Talya is an Associate at Fragomen’s Los Angeles office, where she counsels multinational corporate clients on all aspects of employment-based immigration, including nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters.
Prior to joining Fragomen, Talya worked at a large immigration law firm in San Francisco. As a first-generation American, Talya has pursued her interest in immigration law since the beginning of her legal career. She worked as a student attorney for the UC Hastings Refugee and Human Rights Clinic, where she obtained affirmative asylum for her client. Additionally, she worked as a law clerk at a San Francisco-based business immigration firm, handling a substantial caseload of Requests for Evidence for various employment-based visa applications. As a law student, Talya competed in the Asylum and Refugee National Moot Court competition and served as the Executive Editor for the Hastings International and Comparative Law Review.
