Partner Haseena Enu spoke with the American Bar Association about her role in the ABA Afghan Legal Professionals Scholarship & Mentoring Pilot Program, which helps legal professionals who were evacuated and now living in the US rekindle their careers. She shared how mentorship, shaped by her own journey and values, has helped her mentee fellow navigate the challenges of law school, adjust to a new legal system and rebuild his professional life in the US. Her story highlights the importance of connection, empathy and practical support in helping displaced professionals thrive.
