Ireland: Atypical Working Scheme to Close for Non-EEA Fishing Fleet Applications

The Irish government is closing the Atypical Working Scheme for non-European Economic Area fishing fleet crew on December 31, 2022 so that such applications can transition to the Employment Permit system, per a government report recommendation. Online applications under the current system will be accepted until that date and those in need of renewals should submit those applications before that date to maintain their right to stay in Ireland.
