"GermanyWelcomes – Skilled immigration, but how?"
In collaboration with PD - Consultants for the Public Sector.
Inefficient processes, overburdened authorities, and a lack of digitalization. And the system? Inefficient, not service-oriented. Anyone who wants to come to Germany as a skilled worker quickly reaches their limits. So how do we create a system that welcomes talent, relieves pressure on authorities, and strengthens Germany as a business location? Join Fragomen Partner Marius Tollenaere and other experts in this session to discuss how complicated bureaucracy can be transformed into a modern and service-oriented immigration system – and what is needed to ensure that "GermanyWelcomes" does not remain just a cliché.
Speakers:
- Liz Wehmeier, Research Associate, University of Potsdam
- Christian Oelfke, Head of the Visa Department, Federal Office for Foreign Affairs
- Benno Straumann, PD-Consultant of the Public Sector GmbH
- Marius Tollenaere, Partner, Fragomen
- Manuel Clemens, Senior Consultant, PD – Public Sector Consultant GmbH
