Manager Tarik Elhadidi and Senior Associate Asif Hanif share with Energy Voice how the significantly raised minimum salary threshold for the UK’s Skilled Worker visa undermines the UK’s commitment to bring all greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2050.

To achieve this goal, the energy sector looks to fill 400,000 roles, which will be hampered by the latest changes to the salary threshold and abolition of the Shortage Occupation List which previously offered employers certain discounts.
