The UK's expanded Right to Work (RTW) Scheme comes into force on 1 October 2026, covering a wider range of working arrangements, including certain workers supplied through contractors, subcontractors, intermediaries and online matching platforms. It also introduces an extended civil liability framework for organisations operating within labour supply chains.

We invite you to join Fragomen on Tuesday 8 September for a practical webinar designed specifically for Japanese businesses operating in the UK. We will explain the new requirements, highlight the key risks, and discuss the practical steps organisations should take ahead of implementation.

During this session, we will discuss:

・The expanded definition of "employer" and which working arrangements are now in scope.
・How the new extended liability framework operates.
・The practical steps organisations should be taking now, including reviewing workforce models, onboarding processes and contractual arrangements.
・Key areas where the Home Office guidance remains uncertain and what businesses should be watching ahead of implementation.
・Practical recommendations to help your organisation prepare for 1 October.

This session will be particularly relevant for HR, People, Global Mobility, Legal, Compliance, Procurement and Contract Management professionals, as well as operational leaders responsible for managing contingent workforces.

The webinar will be held in Japanese.

Click the register button above to join this event or for more information get in touch with us at [email protected].
