February 27, 2023 – Fragomen, the world’s leading provider of immigration services, has appointed Kristi Nevarez as the Managing Partner of the firm’s Silicon Valley office and Partner Jennifer Holt Estrella as the head of the Miami office.
“Kristi and Jennifer are two outstanding leaders who embody Fragomen’s values and are dedicated to our mission of providing exceptional client service and helping shape the future of immigration. We look forward to their continued contributions to the success of our firm and further growth in their respective regions,” said Enrique Gonzalez, Fragomen’s Co-Chair.
Nevarez has been with Fragomen for nearly 25 years, serving as immigration counsel to start up, mid-size and large corporate clients across a wide range of industries, including technology, semi-conductor, food and beverage, entertainment, consumer products and legal service providers. Active in her community, Nevarez’s work includes serving on the Latina Advisory Council of How Women Lead, a national organization of top executive women focused on activating their individual and collective power to achieve equity for women by driving representation and opportunities across all aspects of life and career.
“As a Silicon Valley native, it’s an absolute honor to lead our all-female Partner team and continue to deliver value and top-notch service for our clients,” said Nevarez.
Estrella, who has been with Fragomen for more than 15 years, takes over the leadership of the Miami office following Gonzalez’s transition to firm Co-Chair earlier this year. With a pulse on key industries in Florida such as cruise lines, top-tier hotels and restaurants and multinational companies in marine refurbishment, Estrella assists clients on all aspects of corporate U.S. immigration, including nonimmigrant visas, permanent residence, citizenship, compliance and consular processing as well as counseling H-2B program. Dedicated to championing young lawyers and diversity and inclusion initiatives in the Miami office, Estrella has received multiple honors for her work.
“I’m humbled by the opportunity to lead our Miami office as we support the firm’s overall strategic initiatives in a key market in the U.S. and as the premier immigration provider in the state,” added Estrella.
