Immigration Fees Increased

The Hong Kong government has increased certain immigration fees by 10 percent to 21 percent from 9 February 2015. Key increases include the cost to apply for or renew an Ordinary Visa (e.g. Employment, Dependent, Training, Student, Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates, among others), for a single entry permit, or to change conditions of stay (HKD 190), the cost for a one-year multiple entry permit (HKD 390), the cost of a three-year multiple entry permit (HKD 780), the cost to endorse a travel document (HKD 200), the cost to replace an identity card (HKD 370), and the cost to alter information in an identity card (HKD 460).
