Strengthening its practice in Northern California, Fragomen announced today that Julia L. Stommes is joining the firm, effective immediately.
Stommes, who brings to Fragomen more than 25 years of business immigration experience, will work closely with Northern California Managing Partner Rodney Malpert and his team, providing strategic guidance to many of the firm’s clients in the region, ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies.
Prior to joining Fragomen, for the past 15 years, Stommes was Managing Partner of her own firm. She has also been a Partner at Duane Morris LLP, in San Francisco, and Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP, in Dallas.
Among the areas in which she specializes are E-2 investor visas and O-1 extraordinary ability visas for entrepreneurs, as well as, helping clients coordinate outbound immigration to many countries around the globe.
“We’re very pleased that Julia is bringing her practice, which has been tremendously successful, to our team here in Northern California,” said Malpert. “Importantly, our clients will benefit from her legal acumen, expertise and insight on all aspects of their business immigration issues.”
