In light of the UK government's White Paper released on May 12, 2025—introducing major proposed reforms to the immigration system—JETRO London and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the UK will co-host a timely online seminar titled "Latest Developments in the UK Immigration System" on Thursday, June 19, 2025. The event will take place from 9:00–10:00 (UK Time) / 17:00–18:00 (Japan Time) and will be conducted online via Microsoft Teams, in Japanese, with complimentary attendance.
Reika Takeuchi, Head of the Japan Practice at Fragomen LLP’s London office, will offer expert commentary on the evolving immigration landscape, focusing on key changes to work visa routes such as the Skilled Worker route. The session is designed to help Japanese businesses operating in the UK navigate potential implications and prepare for the future.
This webinar is organized by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the UK.
