March 2015 Visa Bulletin: Significant Advancements for EB-2 India and China
February 9, 2015

According to the State Department’s March Visa Bulletin, EB-2 India will advance by sixteen months, to January 1, 2007, and EB-2 China will advance by more than five months, to September 1, 2010.
The EB-3 subcategory for professionals and skilled workers will advance by five months for most countries, to June 1, 2014, China by more than one month, to October 22, 2011, and India by more than one week, to January 1, 2004.
The EB-3 other worker subcategory for India will advance more than one week, to January 1, 2004, and by five months for most countries, to June 1, 2014. EB-3 China will remain at August 15, 2005.
The significant advancements for EB-2 China and India exceed the State Department’s most recent projections of immigrant visa availability. Rapid advancements in priority date cut-offs for EB-2 China and India and for all countries in EB-3 (with the exception of India) could continue for the next several months, but if demand for immigrant visa numbers increases, retrogression could occur.
