Newsweek: Green Card Update: Major Change Announced for Sponsors

USCIS has updated Form I-864, the Affidavit of Support used by sponsors of family-based green card applicants, to include authorization for the agency to request information from consumer reporting agencies. In an article published in Newsweek, Counsel Brian Hunt discussed the change and explained that the information could potentially be used to inform future regulatory actions.
