Fragomen is a sponsor for the Sabah Oil, Gas & Energy Conference & Exhibition (SOGCE), taking place on 25–26 June.
Now in its 13th edition, SOGCE is Sabah’s premier industry platform, bringing together leaders across the oil, gas and energy sectors. Since its inception in 2012, the conference has evolved alongside industry and global energy trends, shifting from traditional petroleum development to a stronger focus on sustainability, digitalisation and low-carbon innovation.
Under the 2026 theme, “Fueling the Future: Driving Energy Innovation for Sustainable Growth,” the event will highlight advancements in artificial intelligence, big data and emerging technologies, alongside the importance of strategic partnerships in driving the energy transition. It also reflects the Sabah State Government’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the sector as a key economic driver while encouraging investment and local participation.
The two-day programme will feature plenary sessions, technical presentations and parallel tracks, alongside an exhibition showcasing the latest solutions and services across the energy value chain.
Fragomen Malaysia Director, Khalisha Sharifah, will be speaking on a Special Industry Dialogue panel:
Government–Industry-Academia Collaboration Roundtable: Aligning Policy, Industry Needs & Talent Pipelines to Accelerate Sabah’s Energy Ambitions Toward 2040
A powerful platform for aligning policy, industry needs, human capital goals & local content aspirations.
