The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced a new rule to begin training special agents with the authority to investigate, arrest and prosecute individuals for immigration-related violations. In an article published in the Times of India, Senior Counsel Mitch Wexler says the change may increase enforcement activity, including more requests for evidence, site visits and notices, and could affect how applicants interact with the US immigration system.
