Alexandra is a Senior Associate at Fragomen’s Atlanta office, where she manages immigration programs and processes for multinational organizations. Alexandra provides strategic guidance and legal counsel on all aspects of the nonimmigrant and immigrant visa process, including filings with USCIS, the Department of State and the Department of Labor. She also partners with clients to develop and implement internal immigration policies and procedures, including employee policies, I-9 and LCA compliance, and merger and acquisition strategies.

Initially joining Fragomen as a Supervising Paralegal while in law school, Alexandra has been working in the field of immigration law since 2007 and has developed a comprehensive understanding of corporate and family-based immigration. She has represented clients in various industries and business sectors, including automotive, communications, software development, packaging, logistics, defense, security, aerospace engineering, optical networking, environmental and electronics engineering, IT consulting, insurance and academia, among others.

Alexandra has provided pro bono immigration counsel in partnership with nonprofit organizations in Atlanta, including support with U and T petitions for victims of criminal activity and human trafficking.

Obtained approvals for nonimmigrant visas (including L-1, H-1B, H-3, TN, O-1, E-2, E-3, B-1, R-1 and J-1 visas), permanent residence applications (including PERM labor certification applications; multinational manager, extraordinary ability, outstanding researcher, labor certification-based and family-based immigrant petitions; and adjustment of status applications) and naturalization applications.

Guided clients through all aspects of the consular visa application process, USCIS nonimmigrant petition process and permanent residency process.

Provided strategic legal guidance and case management to clients related to the immigration implications of mergers, acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and reductions in force.

Counseled clients on matters regarding I-9 compliance and audits.

Successfully responded to complex Requests for Evidence in connection with nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions, and obtained redeterminations on appeal for USCIS denials.

Publications and lectures

Alexandra has participated as a panelist on various corporate immigration related discussions for business organizations in the Atlanta metro area, as well as at the AILA Georgia-Alabama Chapter Annual Conference.
