Ali is a Director based in Fragomen’s Dubai office. He overseas Nomadic’s Middle East operations. Ali is also a part of Fragomen’s Middle East and North Africa leadership team, which is involved in deciding the firm’s strategic direction at a regional level. He is also a key part of the firm’s regional government advisory team, which works closely with various government and semi-government bodies to help them carry out benchmarking, comparative analyses, and other research that helps drive immigration policy.
Ali also helps large multinational clients build out their global business travel policies and delivers strategic advice to them on broader immigration matters, including those pertaining to immigration compliance. As part of this, he regularly contributes thought leadership pieces and provides insights to local and regional publications.
Ali represents the firm at various regional and global profile-raising initiatives, forums, and conferences.
Previously, Ali was part of a multinational consulting firm where he managed its Middle East immigration practice. Ali’s previous roles at Fragomen include working as part of Fragomen’s Global Knowledge group and the Middle East Coordination team.
