Ana's U.S. Immigration practice focuses on the representation of corporate clients in the entertainment, reinsurance, wireless products and financial services industries. She advises these clients with regard to the intricacies of nonimmigrant visa petitions, and the preparation of immigrant based petitions and naturalization cases. She also attends client interviews and counsels clients on compliance related issues.
Prior to joining Fragomen in 2005, Ana handled family-based immigration cases and represented clients seeking benefits before the Executive Office for Immigration Reviews such as asylum and adjustment of status under the Cuban Adjustment Act.
Ana's pro bono work includes the Special Immigrant Juvenile Pro Bono Project in conjunction with the Florida Immigrant Advocacy Center. This project involves the representation of unaccompanied minors in juvenile court and representation of juveniles before the EOIR and USCIS applying for adjustment of status as Special Immigrant Juveniles.
