Ayako is an Associate at Fragomen’s Phoenix office, where she assists clients all aspects of U.S. immigration. She is experienced with handling pre-hire consultations, job change assessments, EB-1s, O-1s, L-1s and individualized Requests for Evidence, and advises clients on their employees’ eligibility for a variety of visas.
Prior to her current role, Ayako was a Law Clerk at the firm’s San Francisco office, where she assisted with a variety of employment-based visa applications, petitions and compliance issues. She conducted research, drafted documents and communicated with government agencies and clients’ employees on complex immigration matters. Ayako was also previously a paralegal at a boutique immigration law firm. During law school, she served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Sara Darrow, United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois.
Ayako speaks English and Japanese.
