Brendan has spent his entire career in immigration, beginning as a diplomat on behalf of the Australian government and following with roles at the Big Four before joining Fragomen.

He is a technology innovator and problem solver who works closely with firm leadership to build solutions for clients’ short-term travel and other digital needs. In 2019, he led the team that developed Nomadic, a state-of-the-art solution for business visas, Consular and immigration document procurement services.

In addition, Brendan has extensive experience working with practices across the firm on the development and marketing of specialized services in support of various regional and country-specific regulations and compliance requirements. He has considerable experience in the development and implementation of global, regional or country-by-country immigration programs for clients, immigration best practices and advice regarding immigration requirements within various jurisdictions.

Drawing on his government and private company experience in immigration, Brendan has contributed to several policy and legislative reviews for governments, including preparing testimony for the U.S. Congress and testifying before numerous Australian Senate committees on immigration legislative reform.

At Fragomen, Brendan previously served as Managing Director, Global Operations Regional Managing Director, EMEA; Regional Managing Director, Asia Pacific; and Managing Partner of the Australia practice and served on the firm’s Executive Committee. His Australian government experience includes three diplomatic postings to the Philippines, Hong Kong and India, and three years working as the Departmental Advisor to the Minister for Immigration, Parliament House, Canberra.
