Cherida is an Immigration Manager in Fragomen’s Amsterdam office, where she advises on complex corporate Dutch immigration matters. With more than 12 years of legal experience, she focuses on Dutch immigration law, including Business travel, International Trade Regulation and cross-border mobility solutions. She delivers strategic, tailored guidance to corporate clients, navigating difficult immigration challenges.

Cherida is deeply committed to building strong relationships with both Dutch and global clients, ensuring that immigration support is not only compliant but also aligned with broader business goals and policies. She brings a unique blend of legal experience and practical HR insight into her role, enabling her to translate complex legislation into workable, business-friendly solutions. Her strengths lie in global coordination, government audits and compliance management—always with a focus on optimizing international HR processes.

Prior to joining Fragomen, Cherida served as an in-house immigration manager for a global leader in logistics automation. In this role, she led immigration strategies across multiple regions, navigating diverse regulatory landscapes with precision and agility. What distinguished this experience was its innovative character: immigration was treated not as a reactive function, but as a strategic driver of global mobility. She played a key role in streamlining visa processes for large-scale technical deployments and designing scalable frameworks for international assignments. Her involvement extended to restructuring HR processes and systems (Workday) to align with Dutch compliance obligations. Before that, she spent a decade at a leading consulting firm in Amsterdam.

This experience shaped Cherida’s philosophy on immigration as a dynamic, business-critical function—one that thrives on innovation, consistency and local sensitivity. Having lived as an expat herself for six years in both Spain and the UK, she brings empathy and firsthand understanding to her work, always striving to ensure a smooth and positive experience for employees.

Cherida is fluent in Dutch and English.
