Clarissa practices U.S. immigration law and provides counsel to high-technology sector clients.
Prior to joining Fragomen, Clarissa owned and operated her own boutique immigration law practice, where she advised entrepreneurial individuals, start-up companies and large corporations on all aspects of temporary worker visa petitions and employment-based permanent residence applications. She was previously the supervising attorney at a San Francisco-based immigration law firm, where she gained extensive experience handling complex immigration matters, including H-1B, O-1, L-1A and L-1B petitions; EB-1 and PERM employment-based permanent residence applications; marriage- and family-based permanent residence applications; I-751 petitions and waivers; and naturalization applications. She also worked as an Immigrants’ Rights Fellow at the International Institute of the Bay Area, where she prepared special crime victims’ U Visa, VAWA and U-Adjustment of Status applications.
Clarissa regularly volunteers at various nonprofit immigration clinics, where she provides guidance regarding family-based immigration and naturalization.
