Joseph is a highly respected leader in the immigration industry known for fostering trust and forming valuable relationships that serve as the foundation of his guidance for clients to accomplish strategic goals in a complex business immigration environment. He opened Fragomen’s Salt Lake City office in 2021 and manages a team in the firm’s New York and Salt Lake City offices. He is committed to supporting the next generation of immigration professionals by mentoring them and assisting in their professional development. Joseph leads by example, emphasizing the importance of adaptability as clients' needs evolve.

With almost three decades of experience in immigration law, he develops customized programs for clients in different sectors. Joseph goes beyond comprehending their goals and challenges; he immerses himself in their businesses and culture, establishing personal connections at all levels that enable him to support his clients in reaching their most important objectives. With a strong ability to identify strategic opportunities, Joseph consistently leads initiatives that yield successful results.

Joseph offers guidance on all aspects of corporate U.S. immigration, including temporary visas, permanent residency, citizenship, compliance and immigration support during corporate mergers and acquisitions. He has extensive experience working with a wide range of industries, including AI, advertising/marketing and communications, banking, biotechnology, consumer package goods, crypto, financial services, fine and performing arts, fintech, food and beverage, green energy, insurance, internet services, law, manufacturing, mining, natural resources exploration and production, retailing, sports and technology.

Joseph is dedicated in giving back to his community. He offers a week-long immigration law academy for first-year law students at Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School each year, providing an opportunity for them to immerse themselves in the world of business immigration and law. He also offers a similar, condensed program at St. John’s University School of Law and, for over the last decade, has presented to entering first-years at the school’s Annual Student-Alumni Career Conference.

Joseph promotes Fragomen’s efforts in providing pro bono legal representation in both New York and Salt Lake City. Joseph volunteered his services with the Association of the Bar of the City of New York - City Bar Justice Center, offering community outreach to assist South Queens residents in completing and submitting N-400 Naturalization Applications. He also provided pro bono immigration support for religious workers associated with Abraham House, a social services organization in NYC catering to formerly incarcerated individuals.

Prior to joining Fragomen in 2000, Joseph served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Reynaldo G. Garza, Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
