Gemma is a Senior Manager and Solicitor in Fragomen’s London office, with more than five years of experience in immigration law. She assists clients with all aspects of the Points Based System, with a particular focus on the Tier 2 visa category. Gemma also provides guidance on applications for permanent residency and citizenship in the UK.
Prior to joining Fragomen, Gemma worked within a boutique law firm with an emphasis on family and European law applications. She also spent time with a legal aid charity, assisting with asylum and human rights-based applications and appeals.
Gemma regularly undertakes pro bono work, and volunteers with a migration forum in West London. She also volunteers legal support to a local branch of a human rights NGO (non-governmental organisation).
Gemma speaks English and French.

Experience
Prepared successful complex medical visit visa applications for multinational clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, in reference to Appendix V of the Immigration Rules.
Partnered with a multinational company to consolidate their UK immigration programme with Fragomen, including business strategies and customised and streamlined processes.
Worked with a client who had their visa curtailed erroneously with urgent business meetings to attend overseas. Liaised with the UKVI to have the client’s visa reinstated to facilitate his business travel and objectives.
