With nearly 20 years of experience practicing immigration law at Fragomen, Isha drives change for clients through an unwavering commitment to problem solving, technical innovation and a global mindset.

Her main representative experience includes multinational corporate clients across a variety of industries, mostly focused on financial services, law firms and consulting, among others. She provides guidance on all aspects of corporate immigration, including nonimmigrant visas, permanent residence and citizenship. She also strategically guides human resources professionals, recruiters, employees, global mobility teams and general counsels’ offices to ensure successful immigration solutions.

Isha’s dedicated client service spans both large corporate clients and individuals alike. Regardless of the client’s size or the scope of their challenges, she strikes the delicate balance of putting risk and compliance at the forefront of her approach alongside creative thinking. She is committed to providing consistency across jurisdictions, ensuring that the same, high-quality level of service is provided regardless of region or location.

Isha understands what is most important to clients, including speed-to-market of effective hiring or bringing an employee to a new region. With this in mind, she is constantly seeking innovative ways to bring and develop system-wide efficiencies to programs that include the broad scope of global mobility services. She is motivated by challenging and complex immigration issues and provides critical support by approaching these challenges in new ways. Whether she is advising corporations on how best to manage their programs and budgetary needs or working with an individual on their immigration journey from inception to completion, she won’t rest until all factors are addressed.

One of Isha’s most differentiating qualities is her ability to humanize situations rather than treat them as cases. In fact, it is what draws her clients to come back to her for advice again and again. She is always responsive and enjoys engaging with her clients from past experiences, taking interest in their stories and approaching them with empathy while actively guiding them through their immigration journey.

Isha serves as a Board Member of INCLUDEnyc, an organization committed to promoting equity and access for young people with disabilities across the five boroughs of New York City. Isha also provides pro bono assistance to indigent persons, including filing permanent residence applications for U nonimmigrants and obtaining Special Immigrant Juvenile Status for unaccompanied minors.
